July 31st, 2009 Iiird Generation Mark Phillips & IIIrd Generation Bluegrass Band is a talented group of award-winning musicians who perform hard-driving traditional bluegrass and bluegrass-gospel music. Young and energetic, the band consistently entertains audiences all over the United States and Canada. Based out of Norman, Oklahoma, the band was originally formed in 1995 by Mark Phillips and his father, Wayne Phillips, and the band's sound has evolved into a crowd-pleasing blend of traditional and original bluegrass music.
