We would like to thank all those who in an effort to to get the word out about the IIIrd Tyme Out show cancellation on Thursday evening and yesterday

It was a lot doing I believe here on our Facebook Page we had near 2500 post reach hits on the page. But knowing there would be some that wouldn't have got the message Cathy and I went to the Pennyroyal last night from around 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. along with Mary Cooper, we stood in the parking lot and told people driving in the show was cancelled.

We estimated maybe near one hundred made the drive last night to be turned around for a wasted trip. We surely regret that they didn't get the message and thank them for coming and hope they will still make there evening plans at the Pennyroyal in the future. I think Bluegrass fans are the best in the world and I'm sure they understand this is a rare thing that happens from time to time and this show cancellation couldn't be avoided .

Our best go's out to Blake Johnson of IIIRD Tyme Out and we hope he makes a full recovery soon.

We would also ask that those making a long trip to a show at Pennyroyal in the future to make a call ahead to check for instances like we had for this show.

Thank you all

Frank and Cathy Gad

The old floor we are working to restore...

The Pennyroyal Opera house had a fund raiser in
August for the raising of funds for a floor improvement (basement and kitchen area)

It's a highly durable floor covering of a small pea gravel type surface. The fundraiser raised $2,350 dollars and they hope hope to raise about $10,000 dollars to do the sufacing job.

We have a fund raising thermometer that will be displayed at the Pennyroyal. If you would like to donate to the fund through the local band which is Westbanko, please contact them.
